The annual ASPIRE dinner and research symposium will be held on Thursday, June 6th.

Dr. Scott Ketcheson, Canada Research Chair in Hydrological Sustainability, will be visiting us to discuss some of his fascinating work in the field of reclamation hydrology. A public lecture will take place in the afternoon, followed by the annual ASPIRE dinner and research symposium. Students will prepare and present posters of their thesis work, and industrial partners will be invited to this great networking opportunity. Dinner will be provided and there will be a cash bar. Approximate itinerary:

  • 9am – 12pm, Romero Classroom, Emera IDEA building
    Summer Seminar
    Dr. Ketcheson will offer a half-day workshop on reclamation hydrology to ASPIRE students.

  • 4pm – 5pm, location TBD
    Public lecture

  • 6pm – 10pm, Dalhousie University Club Great Hall
    ASPIRE Gala and poster fair
    The ASPIRE community, including professors, students, and industrial partners, will come together to share a meal and network
